Missing alerts

Since this site went down last, though I've posted on several threads in For the Guys, I haven't received any e-mail alerts that someone has replied to anything I've put up, even though some folks have.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Did you check your email preference in your profile? Is it set to YES?

I think the email function was something which Jeff still had to sort out since moving everything to a new host.

Interestingly enough, immediately after my post, I got a ton of alerts for old messages! The day after? None.
I understand now that Jeff needs time to get this site up to full operation.
