Totally agree, shoes look great and definately quality feet size and legs in them photos, I'm a size 8 as well and what a superb heel height on them and an ankle strap as well! Excellent!

It looks like you have updated your avatar PH since I last noticed, or I could be completely mistaken , but you look really nice in your current avatar picture. From the waist down, I would never guess that to be a male.

"Generally" .....

EU39 = UK6

EU40 = UK7

EU41 = UK8


That said, an Italian EU42 is a UK8.

You would be a US10 or US11 to be a UK8.

Well, Pleaser says EU 41 is UK 7.5 and a US 10. Aldo claims EU 40 is UK 8 and a US 11...Maddens seem to be EU 40 at a US 10.5.
I know I usually fit a EU 40, but I am confused with the other sizes.......

Bit of a hijack, but let's conclude this if we can?


I recently bought 7 pairs of heels from the US, all size 10 (US BTW).

Nine West and Via Spiglia (will check spelling later) were a good UK8.

4 other pairs were a wearable UK8, but would cripple anyone with anything other than slim feet. One pair was clearly marked EU40, which I assure you, is a UK7, and was marked as US10.

One pair, was almost impossible to get on my feet. They went on, but were so tight it would hurt me to walk in them. These were clearly NOT a UK8, and I doubt a US10, though they were marked as such.

Conclusion? Even in America, a US10 means different things to different manufacturers.


Pleasers:

EU41 as I've said, is UK8 and I'm happy it might be US10 too, though experience above suggests a "10" is a bit of an irregular size?

I've 4 pairs of Pleaser now, all EU41. Every pair is slightly too long on overall length [making the UK7.5 claim unlikely] but short on toebox.

I've tried Aldo UK8 here in the UK, and found them tight. The claim to EU40 may be correct for that reason, but there is no way they are US11. If I'm honest, I would say an EU41/UK8 is actually a US10.5 [made by very few] so more like a US11.

Taking that a step forward; UK8 = US11 = EU42 ??


Which makes your EU40 feet, even smaller.

All I know is that I take a Mens UK size 8 and normally can get into Womens UK size 8 without any problems whatsoever.

However, the black patent stilettos in the candid pics, whilst being a Womens UK size 8 were an extremely tight fit and required some gentle stretching around the toebox area and the help of a Christmas cracker novelty shoehorn to get them on lol.
