Well, while not wishing to get into the debate of the previous two posts, I'd say women wear trousers because they are more practical. Not only do they give greater freedom of movement, but they also are easier to maintain for a smart appearance I would guess. One merely has to put on a clean pair of trousers insead of shaving/tanning legs or buying yet another new pair of hose.

Many women have discovered they can still wear smart heeled boots with trousers and look completly stunning. I predict men will poach the boots to a greater or lesser degree in the same way women have acquired the trousers.

Anyway, we are all plugging our own line here, but the question is, will stockings and heels ever return bigtime?

I agree that high heel shoes / boots and the 'right' sort of trousers looks good. BUT there are some really dreadful ones being worn EVERYDAY. In my opinion, women should dress like women.

Yes I do hope so too Francis.

I've no real opinion on how women should dress. That's up to the individual woman concerned. These stockings are fascinating though, and I'd like to see more of them if people would care to wear them

I do have an opinion (as you have probably noticed ) I'd love to see more stockings around too.

women probably wear pants more in the winter than other times. a nice pair of velvet or silk type pants paired up with either high heel boots or just the classic pump is quite nice looking. they are also warmer in the midwest and you don't have the cold wind blowing up your skirt.

For winter women belong in boots and slim long skirts to stay warm. Trousers are for men.

Oh brother!! Is there a male form Scotland who wears a kilt in this forum? If so, would you like to comment on wearing kilts/skirts?
On a lighter note, I would not recommend him wearing a kilt with stockings, hairy legs and high heels.

Women can look very good in (tight) pants and heels too, just like men can look good in heels, imho.
