pony hoof boots - done and over with?

I've recently gone to YouTube and search for 'Pony Hoof Boots.' Not many came up. I revised the search, and again, not many to nothing came up as results. That only in turn made me curious as to what would pop up in search on Google, the main search engine I use, so I searched 'pony hoof boots', 'pony boots', and 'pony boot pics'. Only pictures of shoes for ponies came up (oh! and a few old-fashioned pics of legs in pony boots).

This leads me to my question. Are pony hoof boots becoming more and more rare, so close as to being extinct? It seemed like only yesterday that we, and the select few sites, were talking about, or selling, pony hoof boots; how alot of us wanted to fancy a pair, or even as far as to end up in bondage with them on. Either way, it would seem pony hoof boots (or however they're really called) were beginning to rise up, at least in the forum.

It brings up another question, but I'll wait on it. Let's have a thorough discussion on this part first.

The uppers for the Pony Boots were made by TLSB and Kaisers who finished them off seem to be unable to find someone who can supply them at the same quality without wanting to make them themselves.

I don't think that the idea is dead at all. It's just that it is a very specialised market, and the small number of sales means that only a couple of companies that specialise in the ponygirl/boy fetish scene find it profitable enough to tool up to have them made.

S-Art.de in Germany make excellent hoof boots although they are a little more expensive than the waterhole site in the USA. Of course, Punitive shoes do a modified pony boot, which is more like Devious Femme Boot with the curved heel. These are S-Art's hoof boots

Mainstream has caught up on the theme as well now. These appeared on the New York catwalk recently. It probably won@t be long before they appear as a boot. Made by Antonio Berardi

I've neen waiting for 5 months for some "rancho" pony boots from punitive shoes.
They claim they are having problems getting all the necessary bits.
Looks like they are a dying breed

), but the pony boots make it as far as only bondage? Two "impossible-to-walk-in" shoes, but only one more-popular one.

Ballet boots have been around since victorian times but pony boots haven't. Give it time! ;)

I have seen different but somewhat distant takeoff versions of this, but never like the boots she is wearing... very unique.

Pony boots have appeared in music videos too. One that comes to mind is one of Tori Amos's early ones.

Ballets have been in 7 or 8 music vids now
