I tried pony boots as I visited this store http://www.leder-gummi-studio.de/index1.html , with a real hoof. quite funny - and unexpected easy to walk, but I would not buy them. Still I am pretty sure, they are not *dead* but still very interesting for alot of people.

Hi, pony boots not extinct. Got a pair from Australia in march 2007 on a pre-production run for my husband. Knee length, front lace with proper steel hoof.
Good fun but not easy to wear.
I have had him out on Holloway Road, London wearing them one afternoon.
I managed to get him to wear them from our hotel, Thistle Victoria, on a London Bus to the threatre district, have a meal and watch a show. A good fun night.

The boots in the Tori Amos video were made by a British designer, Fleur Oakes, who doesn't advertise them. This is probably her website: http://www.fleuroakes.com/

As you can see, she's since moved on to textile art. Maybe if you ask nicely, she'll make a pair for you. Maybe not.

Okay - I might be getting two styles confused here, or perhaps it's just the terminology... I saw some pics on the other page of pony hoof boots.

And I always thought that the following particular style was called something similar - I'd love a pair of these to try out.
