Hi Welcome to the forum,,

only advice i can give is put them on and wear them as often as you can before the event , practice makes perfect, can i inquire what size and height they are as this may hinder your progress somewhat if you are new too high heels.

Thanks i am not new to heels but have not worn the ultra high ones before. My normal height is 4 or maybe 5 inch ones. My christmas ones are 6 inch and really are a stuggle for me to walk normally in. I am size 3. All i want to do is manage them without falling flat on my face!

Ciara

Don't wear them out!! You are not ready yet, unless you are going to be sitting all the time I would wait until you can walk around the house with out a problem.

just to echo Hoverfly.. patience.. but if you must absolutely push the issue.. practice.. and stretch gently.

WOW ! they are very high for your size, that why i asked, and can only echo the advice already given , don't go in them unless you have practised a lot , you don't want too hurt yourself ,your heels or your pride!

Have fun ,with practice you will get there.

Ciara, it takes time and patience. I know that is not what you want to hear but it is the truth. There is no shortcut. As the height increases the required time increases too. Ultra heels are a real commitment, you will have to "work up" to them by wearing some intermediate heels of progressively greater height.

If you are struggling in these heels, you are not ready for them -- and if you "push it" you are in for a miserable experience.

UK size 3 would be a U.S. size 5.
