Nail Polish

I get a professional manicure and pedicure every 10 days in a nail salon. I wear clear polish on my fingernails and red polish on my toenails. I live in California and wear open toe sandals everyday. I get many compliments on my red toenails and would never wear sandals without a good pedicure and red polish on my toenails. I currently have my toenails painted OPI Mat-adore Red and the nail tech painted little white flowers on my big toes. It is so cute. The girls at work call then my sassy red flower toes.

Thanks Jamie. Actually it is after reading your post that I started going for pedicures as well. It is really fun and very relaxing. Last time I was in LA I got a pedicure in Santa Monica. They did suc a nice job with an airbrush design that i still haven't removed it, even after more than two weeks.

10 days! Two weeks! I go every 4 weeks or so, though 3 would be better. Mine are expensive, but it takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours, what with the foot bath, massage, etc. And I have to leave barefooted (thongs) so the polish isn't damaged.

Yes, the one fun part is to walk out in sandals or slippers with the new polish ! The first time I made the mistake of putting shoes on. Bad idea. Much of the polish scratched.

Well I did it again I got my nails done and now I have 1_inch fingernails with blood red polish. They are acrylic and being as this is the first day with them on I am rapidly getting used to them. Typing is an adventure in itself but sereously folks I enjoy wearing them. BTW I also have my toenails polished the same color.

everyone should try getting their nails done in a salon, its a great experience! i go as often as i can afford to!

It's nice that you can do that, but with the work I do, a nail job wouldn't last 24 hours. That would really get expensive. I sure would like to have it done some day, but I'll bet that that day will never come.

Admittedly - these were taken for a long toe-nail fetish site a while back - but the pink varnish is French - called "Ultra-Rasperry"
