Crushing - I'm trying to understand

What is it about crushing things with heels that makes it so appealing? Maybe I'm looking for an analytical answer, because I don't understand it myself, I'm not sure. Just like with most deeper fetishes, it's the empowerment or submissiveness.

I've read a few times and have ran across a few sites about crushing. Having no appeal to me, I just move on. Now I'm wondering. What I know so far is that the preferred choices are the wooden exercise sandals like Dr. Schools and or wooden heels from Candies. When they put them on, the wearer feels like they are meaner. Favorite items from teens to the 20's are their little brother's toy metal cars. When they get older, it becomes food, animals and their partners.

Is it a fetish of the wearer making them feel like the 50 foot woman to destroy these little toys? This goes back to the empowerment theory, or is it a release of some sort, like releasing some inner anger?

I was reading some shoe reviews the other day and came across a few reviews where they had platforms on and went about looking for bugs and animals to stomp on. They had so much fun, they ended up wanting to crush more animals all day. A mad rampage if you ask me. I'm not condemming it, I just don't understand.

Anyone want to shed some light or share their experiences?

No one likes to crush anything? Come on, we won't judge anyone for feeling mean and wanting to crush bugs or any other object.

Ok, I'll start, although I'm not into crushing, but have an experience. As a kid, there was this street I always had to pass. The trees had these little flowers that fell and littered the floor. If you stepped on the fresh ones, it would make this nice pop noise similar to popping packing bubbles. So, I would hop around popping these flowers on the floor. So that's why I was jumping around like a mad monkey going down that street. I'm sure the neighbors thought "There goes that crazy kid. Must've given him too much sugar and pop." :)

Hello Flip-Flop!

On occasion I've asked Firefox (moderator etc.) about this, because I've never understood the Crushing tin cans/toys/plastic bottles thing, and nor have I understood the insect-crushing thing either, although both get re-introduced on the these forums from time to time by (presumably) enthusiasts.

Firefox can't understand it either! But nevertheless he tries to welcome every section of high heel enthusiasts.

But within the broad church of all of us high heel enthusiasts, there are innumerable sub-divisions - those turned on by failed slingbacks, car pedal-pumping, tilting or wobbling heels, platforms, Non-platforms, bondage footwear (padlocks etc.), messed-up and muddy shoes, thighboots, mules, vintage 60s shoes, etc. etc. etc., so that crushing cans or insects can then be seen as only two of countless favourite shoiee trun-ons.

Overall, we're a funny old lot aren't we?

Hmm, not quite sure what to make of your post Heelfan. ??? It's as if you are assuming that I have the crushing fetish by resurfacing this topic. Perhaps, I'm just reading more into this than I should after reading the other thread about what people do after they have their heels on.

I'm very well aware of the many fetishes that people have. It's personal preference and as diverse as every individual here.

I don't understand what the draw is. I'm open minded to find out what the excitement is all about. This came up again while reading a review and seems as common as pedal pumping. I'd like to know, as there must be a few people here that are into crushing.

It's all about power is the conclusion I have come to.

And I think it is more important who is the person that does the crushing. If you are attracted to that person (sexually) then it is more of a turn on.

I relate that to my own experience where if I saw a women wearing heels it may enhance her total appearence for me whereas if I saw a guy wearing them, I'd be interested from a practical point of view of what shoes he was wearing and where he got them.

I can't say I'm interested in crushing of itself, but it involves women and movement, and ability to wear heels So I like the subjects on the periphery.

I have done few crushing clips, main reason was that friend of mine, a he :)

He said that its fetish, related to shoe and heel fetish, sexual experience to see something crushed under heels of woman. its a domination play. I think they imagine being themselves under the heels.

To me, the sight and sound of a nice looking girl crushing things with her shoes or boots is just incredible.

I think it's the contrast of feminine elegance and gentleness with brutal power and total control. Kind of a dominatrix or trampling thing taken further. I think whatever is being crushed represents a helpless, tiny man being trod on and disposed of with such ease and humiliation.

It possibly stems from men's childhood fantasies - when one is so much smaller and helpless compared to an adult woman?? Kids in the playground also often pretend that they are giants destroying a town or whatever. Maybe it's all tied up with that too maybe??

The stiletto heeled shoe or boot is itself a symbol of feminine power mixed with elegance. I like seeing crushing best if a woman is wearing classic stiletto pumps and nylons, but she doesn't have to use her heel - in fact I often prefer her using the sole of her shoe and twisting and grinding whatever it is into a pulp. A pair of wedges, platforms or just barefoot is great too.

Yes I know it's all a bit weird and messed up, but I think that's OK as long as it doesn't dominate normal sexual desires, but used to compliment them.

Never quite understood it myself. But I do get into water play and some wam. I just like the feel of a cool stream flowing over my naked feet in a pair of soft leather heels.
