I like to feel them against my skin. It's very relaxing. In my early teens, my fetish for long nails was nearly equal to my fetish for high heels and boots. I would even overlook ugliness or obesity if the girl had very long nails and/or wore high boots.

Katherine did not have especially long nails when I met her but she has grown them for me. My own nails are kept short and painted with clear base coat.

I love long painted nails! Sadly my wife's are quite weak and break if she tries to grow them. Painted toe nails are very sexy, but I don't like them to be long.

In the past I wore 1-inch acrylic polished nails but the cost of maintenance was prohibative. I still wish that I could have kept them because I loved the way they looked on me. Yes they were a conversation starter and I enjoyed them.

My family thuoght they were outragous. My mother loved them when I had pastel pink on them for Christmas. The other comments were that they looked dangerous. Yes they got in the way when I had to do laundry and when I was handling small things like my earrings. Pulling up my fly in my pants was difficult and buttoning anything was a chore. Lacing my thigh high boots was hard too. Many people just stared and didn't say anything. The girls who did make comments were very positive about them and they asked the same question many people do "How do you function with them soo long". As with anything you get used to it.

I did it again. I just got my acrylic nails applied and they are blood red and are 1_inch long. They take a little getting used to but I love the way they look on me. BTW I also have the same color on my toes.

Mine are 1" past the end of my fingertip & I've worn them this way for 20 years.
