Thanks Xa. Some guidance much needed I think. I'll also add that the terms of the sever we are on, and Jeff's terms, don't allow pornography or adult content. So if people want to keep the forum, stick to Xa's rules.

Those are good rules to abide by. It's refreshing to see. So many groups and forums instantly degenerate into sludge pits. It's nice to see a forum where there are rules in terms of being civil. Great job!

I really enjoy posting in and reading adult fetish/bdsm boards with explicit content- however I do like that things are a bit different here, and I see that it keeps the content on topic which is cool.

Being new here, and having a bad potty mouth, I can't promise that I won't slip up- however I will absolutely do my best ;)

5 years later, it's good to see that we've managed to steer a middle course between "degenerating into a sludge pit" and being so prudish as not to offend a group of school marms on a Sunday School outing. (apologies to school marms who wear nice shoes)

We seem to have established ourselves as a group who like heels for their own sake. True, many of us have a fetish for shoes, but here we don't labour how much this might stray into the sexual side of things. There are many other places for that.

When I put up those guidelines in my moderator days, I didn't dream that they would be still in use now, nor did I think that I would not have added to them at some time.

I'll add something in another 5 years, maybe.
