my gran died from skin cancer
i dont understand why anyone walks barefoot on stony beaches
ive cut my foot on rocks
one of my staff ripped their foot open on the beach
i dont wanna get a syringe in my foot
i feel the cold
there's jellyfish on this beach
and if all else fails
bcos its wkd fun, whats youre problem....

went to brighton sunday as planned, very windy, waves big with strong undertow, so had to make do with thigh high paddling, still, with knee boots on, no stones to worry about, and kept warm....

oh yes, the whole beach ! Don't care nowadays, life's too short to be worried !! Walked along / in the waterline, its funny, ive found that if i'm the first in, others follow, just needs someone to kick start it !!

i absolutely love it! i'm deathly afraid of water, but the sensation is totally worth it.

my friends and i do this thing called "riverwalking". there's a river nearby and we dress up in nice clothes, as in our Sunday best kinda clothes, as well as the most expensive shoes we can find and wade about a mile in the middle of the river, stop on a bank and have a very small bonfire as well as a picnic of cheese, crackers, grapes, and some wine, and then walk back home and have an even bigger fire and warm up/dry off.

you should try it sometime!

some of us are into it because of the destructive aspect, some of us because we like the feel of the wet shoes and clothes (quite a few in the group into WAM), and most of us just because it's a fun event.

heh. yeah, it's amazing what us high school kids are into these days. you just gotta find the right people and stick with your own, ya know? :) i got very lucky finding them... even though they pretty much found me.
