Daytime adventure disappointment

Recently i purchased a pair of 5-inch D'Orsay pumps with a double ankle strap in black patent. The first thing i did was mutilate the ankle straps and added padlocks that can be put through the eyelets. They are extremely comfortable and i wear them a lot. So to add a bit of excitement to my life i mailed the keys to the locks to myself on Saturday and then locked them on. Now comes the disappointment. in the complex i live in you have to walk in sight of the pool to get your mail. there are several young ladies that frequent the pool and i thought this would be an opportunity to break the ice as a conversation starter walking to the mailbox to retrieve the keys.

Well i have been to the box and back yesterday and today and the disappointment is that not only wasn't there anyone at the pool or elsewhere, no keys yet. i guess you could say that is a blessing because the shoes must stay on.....sigh. i did have my hopes up. Maybe tomorrow i'll wear a skirt instead of jeans.

Sorry to hear about that. But then again, you have another chance to be seen.

Do you have a backup plan in case the keys get lost in the mail?

keep trying, they may have just got goggles on...
If all else fails, try swimming in them, that should get a reaction....

Update....

i wore a denim knee length skirt and open sleeveless blouse had my nails done and made up when i next went for the keys in the mail. met the postman at the box in fact. we exchanged pleasantries nothing more. Still no stares or comments from the desperate condo wives in the complex. unlocked the heels this weekend and need to plan for another more daring adventure perhaps. Any suggestions??????

Buy 'disposable' film camera. The type still made by Kodak and Fuji. Get one with 24 exposures.....

Get dressed up, HH, skirt, nails and blouse sounds fine. Leave apartment with camera, and don't return until you have 24 pictures taken of you, by 24 different people.

Get images processed and put on CD. Share best one taken with us here?

Just curious, what city or part of the US do you live in?

Hmmmm i like this idea and if i go a wee bit farther out i can walk into a photo lab and have them processed while i wait.. Very cool!

Perhaps you should buy some ankle ballet boots and wear them with the other parts of your outfit on your excursions. If they are visible I think they would draw the desired attention. Especially if you add some white or light colored tites.

Yes i'll bet they would. but honestly, i can manage for a few hours at home with walls and furniture to support me in my ballet heels but outside pavement hurts when you do face plants.

i have however thought of adding a pair of ankle shackles to the mix but i am not sure what if anything that will do for my audience. i know i'm weird but i'm a nice weirdo
