High heel collection

Hi, I'm Miriam,

I've been an active CD for 40+ years. I've been out in public since I'm 16 and have loved every moment of dressing as a young girl to an older woman. My high heel collection is now up to 110 pairs, and I love each and every pair as if it was my first. My motto is ("Heels Forever, Flats Never") although I do admit to owning 4 pair of flats. I love shopping and wearing heels, and the sound that they make while walking. That click click sound is such a turn on. If I couldn't wear heels, I'd never have become a CD. Thank goodness they make heels in my size.

I have also been wearing for about 43 yrs and love it. Started when I was 12 with my mom's heels. 1st time I slid them on I was hooked for life. I am so glad that the times have accepted us wearing heels. I can find them in my size too and that's great. I wear 11 or 12 F and have over 200 pairs. I love themn all and it is so exciting to slip on a pair I haven't worn for awhile.

Geez and I thought I might be excessive at 25 pairs of heels and 5 pairs of boots. I'm a rank amateur by comparison.

Don't feel too bad, Michelle. I only have four pairs of shoes and three pairs of boots. All with at least a 4" heel, though. If you count all of the pairs that I've purged over the years I still wouldn't come close to 110 pairs! And I've only been dressing for about 35 years.

:academic:I thought I had to be just about the oldest one among you, as I started the same way by wearing my mother's heels. They were not high then, 2 inches was best. They were sitting in the fireplace one day as she was cooking in the kitchen. I saw them and put my feet into them.
Just then my mom looked in and said "that's right my lad, you stretch them for me"
I have never looked back. That to me was the seal of approval. I went to the wardrobe where she kept them after that and got out her best pairs anytime. It was in my bedroom.
My 73 birthday this month. That gives me 60 years in heels too.

I dont own many pairs, only 12. But that's better than none. I shall keep on going for a long time yet, I hope.

You rascal you. Since we are the oldest members here we have to be careful where we lead these younger bucs and keep them on the straight and narrow. It's fun wearing heels, huh!

It's kind of fun when just the other day I was asked by a much younger CD who had just emerged from that dank closet when I would quit dressing as a female. My instant reply was when I can't wear a 5" heel. Being as I wear them almost daily, you have to know that won't be any time soon.

I hope the young guys carry the torch for heels froever. It has been the best for me - and I love them. hope one day to look down from above and see guys wearing heels in public whenever they want.

Wow 110 pairs is a lot to catch up to and here I was thinking I might have to start building another closet for my 30 pairs.
