I just read the thread "Love without end. Amen!". It's been an amazing job that you have done so far. I must second some other guys from around here who wished to have an aunt like you. I wish I had one as well! There were (and still are) times when I felt (feel) the same like Seannie and I do need someone to turn and talk to who doesn't see my 'problem' as something that needs to be 'fixed'. I'm sure I want to spend the rest of my natural life as a male-being but sometimes I do have this female side in me that wants to live as well. Fortunately, my S/O knows and understands that. But I'm not sure if I'm sometimes too female for my sweetheart.

As far as it concerns the guy that killed the kid: Any similar case brought to court should end like that! - I must admit I was having quite a tough time when it came to those law-school-terms (it's unfortunately unlike the most part of the usual English where you can discover some similarities to German) but I think I figured it and hence I could follow the main idea.
