Default Are someone more of you using a purse

Hey! Me using lady style jeans and pants there´s no or very small pockets. Wearing skirts, like I am today there´s no pockets either.
I had a bit of a problem finding were to keep my wallet, my keys and nowadays when I have started using a bit of make up too I had no place to keep my make up things either.

You know I have started using a purse for to have my wallet, key and my make up stuff in.
I must say its a very good idea. I never going out without having my purse with me.
Its cool matching my purse with the colour of my clothes and my heels. I always trying to do this.

I told you I am wearing a skirt today. I am wearing dark blue pleated skirt ending a bit above my kees. A white female top. Sun tanned pantyhose, very light and white 4 inch stilleto heels.
Wearing white heels I´m having a white purse today. I use to match my purse with the coloure of my heels. Trying looking good.

I just wondering if someone else using a purse too?

Take care!
Bye

Shortguy I agree, women's trouser pockets, where provided, are not to be used to hold anything. Completely ruins the look. Sounds like you are going out en-femme today, so a purse/bag is de rigeure.

When I started wearing ladies trousers to compliment my footwear purely becuse the leg cuff is bigger and so hangs on a heeled shoe better, I realised I had to sort out how to carry round all the junk that normally went into my pockets. So a man-bag came into my life, courtesy of my wife. It was a small messenger styled bag. Once I moved all my stuff into that, I realised just how much weight was in my trousers! Instant benefit was I no longer got a pain in my waist caused by the trouser waist band pulling on my hip bone. Have stepped up to a bigger bag that is totally unisex. Nice leather, and has the right sort of capacity. So now I use a bag every day, regardless of what I am wearing because I really do hate having all that rubbish in my pockets.

I am so grateful that the so called Man Bag has become a part of male attire that it can be used without a thought. I will never be without it now. The bigget benefit is that your clothes do not get ruined by weight pulling them out of shape and they look as they were designed to look.

The biggest problem is guarding it in busy circumstances 'cos now you are just as much of a target for a bag snatch as ladies are.

Yes, I too would be interested to know who has been converted to using a bag/purse. If you haven't yet done, then I would highly recommend you give it a try. Mine if from Texier and is something like this, although with a buckle detail for the closure. Beautiful soft leater.

Simon.

I have been carrying (not wearing) a black leather fanny pack for years. I either carry it in my hand or throw the strap over my shoulder. I just recently got a purse (Eddie Bauer) that looks like a man bag. It is a very plain black leather rectangular bag with a shoulder strap. It looks a lot better than the bag I was using.

Hey Thighboots2! Yes me too, I agree. Most of my lady style jeans and pants has just small pockets or no pockets at all and true they are not to be used to hold anything. And you are so right it comlpletly ruin the looks of the trousers too. Wearing a skirt you just can forget about the pockets. There just are any.
Wearing a skirt, not just today but severals days of the week I just have to use a purse for my things.
Yes I´m out en-femme, not only today but this is the way I live my life. Having a man-bag doesen´t feels right for me. It dosen´t fit my female look, my female outfit. So a feminen purse is the right thing for me to have.

I agree Thighboots2 I also guardining my purse and my self in busy curcumstances.
Goning by bus is one thing. I have to hold hard in my purse when on the bus. I´m a bit afraid going by bus late at night. I try avoid doing this if I can. Having one of my male freinds with me makes me feel a lot better. Or just going out being in a crowded place or something. Yes there is so many things I have to think of living my life as a girl/wom, living my life en-famme.

Take care!
Bye

Hi Shortguy,

Well as you live your life as a woman, then I would expect that you would naturally need a purse, or as we call them here in the UK, a handbag. Of course a man bag would look totally wrong unless it were a unisex style, but being en femme, then you do need something with a femenine flair. I can also understand that being on the bus late at night is a little unsettling for you. It is regardless of your dress/mode because that is the time anyone is most at risk.

How long have you been living as a woman and are you progressing toward GRS? So glad you are living your life as you feel. Go girl.

Silly me in that I made an assumption that your question was aimed at guys in guy mode, hence my response. However, I still would like to know if guys have taken to bags.

Simon.

No pocketbook (although I could use one when I go in a club with a skirt). I just have a friend hold my wallet and keys.
I did put my license which I knew would be asked for ID at the door, tucked in the top of my stocking one time...

I have been contemplating using a purse, but haven't taken the plunge so to speak. I have made many passes by the Macy's clearance section, but usually get sidetracked when thinking about color, style, etc. Normally, when wearing women's trousers or a skirt, I will wear a jacket with pockets.

I wear one of my bags everyday without a thought. Got three of them, all made of leather: a small, medium and big one. None of them is too blingy, they look kinda unisex. Which one I choose depends on what I'm planning to take. If I'm going to classes and need all these notebooks etc., plus a bottle of water, plus an umbrella etc. - then I take the largest one, and so on.

I've been thinking about this as well. I bought some women's pants, and was dismayed to find out the pockets are 100% useless. Likewise, my ex-wife left me some of her wrap skirts, and I realized if I ever plan on wearing them, carrying my wallet and keys will need some kind of handbag.

Radiodave,

Now that's a great ex-wife! Especially if she is the same size! Get a purse and put on a skirt. Shame she didn't leave you a bag or two as well.
