Rep Power: 1 | any advice from girls? I have never worn high heels before, and one of my femal friends was complaining about what a difficult time she has having walking in them and how how painful they were, so i bet her that i could last an evening out wearing high heels, am i in over me head here, or is this something i can possibly pull off? |

It does largely depend on "how high". My personal experience is that 3" heels only took a few minutes to adapt to. For 4" you surely need to adapt your gait, and then the big question is: is it an evening clubbing (hard) or diner/movies (easy)? |

Rep Power: 1 | Re: any advice from girls? I it depends on heel height. To be fair you need to wear the same heel height as your female friend. I think you will find 4" and 5' very challenging and 6" or taller impossible. Keep in mind we not only walk forward in high heels, but dance moving backwards. You may want to also try this. LOL Good luck!! |

Rep Power: 1 | i think it will be an evening club and i agreed to let her pick the heels, so she picked up a pretty tall pair with a very thin heel, which she said would be more difficult that a wide one, is there any advice on how to actually walk?
i actually got her to send me a link to a picture of the ones she picked out http://www.charlotterusse.com/produc...entPage=family
im guessing these will be pretty challenging? |

My Mood: Rep Power: 4 | Re: any advice from girls? I dobut they'll be too hard, they're only 3.5inch which isn't that tall. A lot of my heels are 6" so they're pretty good ones to start off on. |

My Mood: Rep Power: 4 | Re: any advice from girls? Definately try them on, yes, just wear them around the house, try walking at different speeds, up and down stairs. You should be fine I expect, although I live in 5 and 6" heels so I suppose it's easy for me to say that :) |

My Mood: Rep Power: 0 | Re: any advice from girls? If ure really nervous, get ankle boots to start with so u dont twist ure ankles, 4" will become easy for u both...
Funny, never had any probs in heels up to 5", try around the house first, get leather instead of synthetic, and try on first. I always do one size up in patent or realy pointy... |
