Lightbulb New section for teens

What about creating a section just for us teens, where boys and girls can post together? It would be a nice idea, since we teens are about the 10% of 2500+ members.
The sense is that usually we young want to meet together with other young ones who share the same passion. From this point of view hhp is a fantastic place full of life but it's easy to "get lost" in here, and I really don't mind chatting with someone of my age. I'm not rejecting you "aged", simply telling my opinion. Hoping to offend no one.

PS: maybe this thread will be deleted being almost an exact copy of my post in chit chat - how old are you?, but please admins let it be visible maybe just for 48 hours. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it would be much of an idea because I'm not sure if there is much that teens would talk about that us "olds" couldn't take part in...

HI, In a perfect world, why not??

This website is hosted in the UK and is under UK Laws. I as an admin would rather stay away from this area.

BTW, under age teens that have persisted in this direction have been banned in the past.

Not a good idea, may attract predators, they simply should not disclose their age for safety, personally I believe we have a appropriate age group targeted in this subject. More or less it's a mature subject discussion considering the nature of it. Older teens are fine, but still a septet thread for them is not necessary, those who have participated have done well with out it. Such a thread could hold this board responsible and give us a bad reputation. Rich, don't do it!!

Sorry, not going to happen......
The team here have enough to do with the added hassle of moderating "Age restrictions" and who is/is not really a teen on the prowl etc...

Then the whole "At what age do you stop being allowed to post" etc..

Sorry, "Its a no from me, I'm out" (With my duncan Ballantyne hat on)

Just the very words "High Heels" and "Teens" put together would attract the wrong type of members, for all the wrong reasons, regardless of age.

Thats why the ages are hidden on the members list, and the members list is hidden from "Brand new members" and why we ban members from posting their email addresses in posts.

Anyway, enough said... Are we all agreed that a teen forum is a bad idea. or anybody else got a good reason to have one?
