Lightbulb Proposal for new forum.
In view of the number of medically related questions that continually keep cropping-up , I would like to propose that a forum specifically devoted to sore feet and medically related problems be implemented.

Right-on! Personally, I'd prefer something like "Personal Care" or "Medical Care", but something that conveys the idea of where one might go to round-up some ready advice on several medical issues, instead of having to search through the entire forum.

Something like:

Actually, the disclaimer I use most frequently is: This advice/information is for informational purposes only. For competent medical advice your should consult a professional doctor (or licensed practitioner).

Nope, me too...

How about we simply call it "Shoe related physical issues"

No mention of the word "advice" or "medical" and definately not a general medical forum...?

There's no problem if you put a disclaimer. Just something like "The opinions offered are those of visitors, and are in no way condoned or otherwise endorsed by the High Heel Place admin. Always seek qualified medical advice in relation to foot health matters"

If we bow to the alter of claims culture and the nanny state we'd end up closing the whole board down. In any case comments made by members on such subjects are no different to what goes on already.
