Default [Query] Gallery Folders

Is it only the admin of the board who can set up a folder for the gallery?

Could you be a little bit more specific, and mention which pictures you tried to download from which album?

To expand on Tom-NL's queation:
When you say "download", do you mean you were trying to transfer a picture from the gallery to your own box? Or were you trying to post a picture from your computer up to the gallery?

If you are downloading from the gallery to your computer, in Microsoft IE, right click on the image and select "Save Image As" - it should work fine. Using "Save Target As" does not seem to work.

Hopefully this helps... I have been testing this with muddypaws and have found that if you are trying to "Upload" an image from your PC into the gallery, you need to ensure that your image file extension is NOT in capital letters.

So:
image.JPEG / image.JPG will NOT work

but:
image.jpeg / image.jpg WILL work fine.

Regards
Richie

Yes. Either of the 2 admins can setup gallery folders.
Either myself or Nigel can help with this.

To use the imageshack images, see the first thread in the tech forum this thread

To upload your images into the gallery, you will need to upload them directly into your own gallery by navigating to your own new empty gallery, then using the submit image link and uploading the image direct from your computer.

If you want to insert an image in your post, use the "Insert image" icon when making a post (If you dont see this, change your interface options in your User CP) - (Top left) and as long as the image URL does NOT have a ? in it, your image will show fine.

It says they have been submitted now, but I can't see them in my personal gallery.
Do they have to be vetted by an administrator first ?
