[Problem] up-loading an attachment

I've been in the habbit of writing my stories on my PC in Notepad,and posting the attachment at which ever forum I'm on.This way I can work
on my stories,and not have to be online.I often work on more than one
at a time,and I can't do that while writing right on the website it self
(if all the stories in the works on the same site.)
Anyway,I was wondering why we can't post attachments?
And maybe start letting us post stories,and the odd picture,but NO junk.

Uploading attachments is only permitted for the website team and will not be switched on for members as there is no need for it and has the potential to chew up disk space at an incredible rate, plus this then also adds more bulk to the database which frankly isnt needed as I am trying to keep the database as streamlined as possible.

You already can post stories, just post them as a forum post. You dont need to upload any attachments to your post as this just makes it harder for people to read them.

When your done in notepad, just copy/paste the text into a post in the stories section of the forum.

Alternatively, why not submit your stories as articles? Maybe we should have a dedicated high heel fiction section on the website, instead of having them all over the discussion forum?

As for posting pictures, this is already covered in the help forum
