Inserting images into messages

Dear All
Here is an updated explaination of how to insert an image into your post.

Firstly, Be sure to have your profile User CP options set to show anything except for the basic view in the "Message editor options", so that when writing your post or in the message editor window you can look for the http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/image...nsertimage.gif icon in the message editor window.

Click on it once then simply insert the URL to the image that you want to insert into your post, using the full URL, once you have inserted the URL to the image, just click on "OK" and your image will show up in your post.

Your image should either be hosted here in our gallery if it is a similar standard to the other gallery images, or on an image hosting service elsewhere.

If your images does NOT show up in your post!

If your images do not appear in your post then you should double check the URL of your image by pasting the URL directly into a new web browser window address bar to see if the image shows.

If the image does not show then you may have the URL wrong so you will need to edit your post using the "edit" button, but if the image still does not show then it may be possible that the image hosting service does not allow hotlinking.

If you have the image URL correct but it still does not show in your post and is replaced with a link then it may be due to the restriction here that prevents dynamic data from being embedded in posts.

ANY image URL that has a "?" in the URL will not show up and is automatically converted to a clickable URL
