[Problem] "Read" keep coming up as "Un-Read"

Dear Admin,

I like to use the New Posts function as this does save wading through each individual forum to see whats new. When I have finished reading and posting, I select the Quick Links and mark all forums read. However, when I return, usually the next day, I see messages presented as having been updated since my last visit, but when I look, there is nothing new and in some cases they may have been weeks since they were last updated.

This is a trifle annoying to me, I wonder if any other members have been experiencing the same.

Other than that, the new home is just great. I do hope you can fix the ranking as I do somewhat miss my 3" wedges especially as I am ever so slowley edging towards a nice 3.5" pair (but what they were I can't remember)

TB2

Default Re: "Read" keep coming up as "Un-Read"

All works fine for me. It's much better than the old board where everything was effectively marked as read if you exited the forum.

I wonder if it's something to do with cookies?

Default "Read" keep coming up as "Un-Read"

Dear Thighboots2

you may want to check out both the FAQ at the top of the page and the settings in your User CP to see how you currently have set the forum markings as default.

when I imported the entire forum, everybody was assigned the default User profile settings until everybody is back on board and gets adjusted to the new forum.

If you have a seperate issue then please do raise a new thread about it so that us moderators/admins can keep track of what topics people need help with.
