Default Inbox, Sentbox, Outbox & Savebox - question?

I sent a message to someone last night on the forum, and when I got back from work today, the message is not in the SENTBOX, but its still in the OUTBOX.

I'm rather curious why it would be there? Has it actually been sent or is it waiting for a pre-set period before it magically moves into the SENTBOX?

Thanks for any reply :)

I believe OUTBOX is you sent it but it hasn't been read. When they read it, it moves to your SENTBOX.

Thanks for the info! It's not a feature that I use all that much to be honest!

It's a bit odd, but works just fine.

It's quite handy to know if something has been read by the recipient. If it hsan't been read, it's still in your outbox, in effect waiting for the recipient to pick it up.

When it has been picked up, a copy is left in your 'Sentbox', just so as you know what you wrote. There isn't much memory allocated to any of these boxes, so if you want a permanent record, it's best to store it elsewhere.
