Default A proposal to help pay for the cost of running this site

Dear Jeff,
You do an enormous service for all of us, working to keep this site viable.
Thank you.
:D

A thought: this is an expensive site to run, I imagine. I, for one, can afford to support its operation to a degree. How about setting up a site where folks like me can occasionally send you money, through, say, PayPal? If you do, I think that public anonymity would be a good idea, to avoid embarassing less well-off members; acknowledgment by e-mail alone might work.

Your thoughts?

Rainbow

Although at the moment the costs for the site hosting and domain name are currently fully covered by sponsorship of Silhouette I'm open to the idea of making donations to the board.

This might help building up some funding for extra HD-space which we shurely will need in the future and maybe even enough HD-space also host the pictures here.

I'll think about this for a while and get back here when I come up with something... Paypall would be nice idea, I'll look into it..

I think that Silhouette deserves a round of applause as well for their financial support. APPLAUSE.

Also, I think forum members should periodically click on Silhouette's link on the home page and check out the products they carry. You might find something interesting. They've added over 100 items since April.

Silhouette's link can be found at the top of http://hhplace.org/. Go there and click on their name.

Be careful if using paypal.

They have a strict no adult content policy and freeze your account without notice if they think you have contravened it.

You could always send paypal payments to an intermediary, like TOM(NL) for instance. And since they both live in the Netherlands, he could pass them along to Jeff by making direct deposits to his bank. And, I don't know of a more honest, reliable person connected with this forum than Tom. So I am confident Jeff would get the entire donation.

Default Using PayPal

Thanks, Bubba, :D
Your idea sounds like a good way to get by PayPal's censorship.

PS. I can understand the economic motive behind WalMart's picking and choosing, based on "family values," but PayPal!?

Thanks for the compliment Bubba.

But I believe what FF meant to say, was that donations for this website might suddenly be refused by Paypal because they might consider this a "lewd" site (just like happened to the Paypal account set up for Jenny's website).

I for one have a look from time to time to see what they have. they have a great selection of heels and if I was over there I would make an effort to visit them. they help us and support us with very little support from us ( I am guessing)

lets all have a look at what they have got.

Buy from them and help support the forum!

Nigel
