I see some individuals have a picture under their names when they post a message. How can I attach one to mine????

1) Upload a pic here or put it somewhere you can get it on the web.

2) Edit your profile and put the URL in the Offsite Aviator box.

I tried what you said but I don't think it worked. I not computer illiterate, but I'm no whizz either!!!

The pic has to be quite small. Less than 7k in size I think, or it wont attach properly

If you are attempting to insert a picture that is stored on our forum's server, here is all you need to do.
1. After you uploaded your picture to this forum's server, you will see the URL for that location in the form of a link. It will look something like this:
http://65.160.96.70/hhplace/images/xxxxxxxxxx.gif
The x's represent a unique number that is assigned to all pictures.
2. Next copy that URL address. Do this by moving your cursor over the link URL address, then press CTRL-A (to highlight the entire address), then press CTRL-C (to copy the URL address into memory).
3. Open your profile at this forum.
4. Scroll to the very bottom to view the Avatar Control Panel.
5. Left-click inside the white blank rectangle box, and then press CTRL-V (to paste the URL address there).
6. Click on SUBMIT.

Then move your cursor over the URL address that appears, press CTRL-A (to highlight the entire address), then press CTRL-C (to copy the URL address into memory).

4. Left-click inside the white blank rectangle box, and then press CTRL-V (to paste the URL address there).
