I reproduce my latest posting on Jenny's Forum because it relates to these Megaforums as well. A newcomer called "Mistress Katt" or "Katt" has just become very active on Jenny's Forum and also hereunder -see "My Favourite Photos". Within two days of this self confessed professional dominatrix/photographer appearing with links to her somewhat porny paysite etc., she is now offering (on Jenny's Forum) to be the host of each of these Forums. Personally, I feel most strongly about these matters, and am posting these comments relating to the moderating and future all three Forums:

Arno very aptly labelled Katt as a "Trojan Horse" trying to introduce porn to our Forum.
Since Arno's posting, Katt has made Arno's description even more apt by offering to host the entire Forums. It is obvious to me that total abandonment of moral standards that would inevitably ensue.
Well, I must say the the Moderators loud and clear that I for one would be MOST upset if these forums were slide into being hosted by anyone like Katt condoning "Erotica and adult content".

At present, the one thing that makes these Forums (Jenny's,Firefox's and Megaforums) so unique to so many of us is that they stand out as an island - a beacon of decency amongst a vast and ever-growing sea of tastelessness, porn and vulgarity that threatens to swamp us all.

It has to be realised by the Moderators how much this means to the many people like me who really appreciate being able to debate their passionate interest in shoes without being surrounded by porn. One only has to look at these members' responses to Katt and to previous similar posting to realise this.

Just ask ourselves for a moment why Katt should be so keen and persistent to wheedle her way into this forum:

FACT: She states on these forums that she is a full-time professional dominatrix and photographer. Her photographs contain full frontal nudity of girls, genitalia, trampling etc.

FACT: Being reliant on the income from those activities, she states that she is advertising on many other sites. Looking for new pay-members!

FACT: Within two days of first posting her, she is already suggesting taking-over the hosting of our entire forums!

FACT: Katt's persistance demonstrates that she obviously sees our Forums as particularly large and well-populated.

FACT: These Forums have been especially well-populated hitherto ONLY because they are special and fairly unique in resisting a) Porn and b) Individual financial exploitation.

I believe that any lowering of these Forum's standards and rules (let alone a take-over) would lose the existing members in droves and droves. Why should any of us stay loyal when there are THOUSANDS of smutty websites out there already peddling porn by the bucket-load?

It is quite extraordinary that one of our own Moderators has just called the Forum's rules a "Bummer", because it is the upholding of these very rules that makes these forums to special and unique to me, and I hope to many other members.

It strikes me that this issue brings us to a crossroads where we should ask the Moderators whether they intend to continue upholding the "No Porn, no links to porn, and no advertising for individual financial gain" rules as rigorously and admirably as they have done in the past, or whether they really do think these rules are a "Bummer" and might be prepared to let the Forums slide into the oblivion of the existing sea of porn-sites and pay-sites.

A fundamental principal is at stake here, and I hope for comments from members and moderators alike.

I don't think any mod said the Forum's rules were a "Bummer". I believe that was Katt's opinion as expressed on Jenny's Forum...

We can't do porn links and porn pictures here because that is the policy of EATserverNL, so we've no choice about whether we uphold those rules or not. Hence there can be no change of direction.

As for Katt, she's only offering to host Jennys board at some stage if we need it. We wouldn't lose control or anything like that. So we should be thanking her for her offer rather than chastising her.

I honestly think you have misinterpreted her from the outset. She didn't know the full rules to begin with, but she apologised for that, voluntarily removed the pictures that people didn't like, and posted some artistic pictures more in keeping. I don't see what more she can do.

Personally, I think we should be having a few drinks, party poppers, hugs and kisses, and welcoming a new member to the community

Fact - you are jumping to loads of assumptions based completely on your own paranoid fears, personal values, and a complete lack of knowledge of me or my circumstances.
Fact #1 - I am a part time Dominatrix, a part time fetish photographer, a part time webmistress, a part time pyschotherapist, and a part time artist.

Fact #2 - Yes I have advertisements on other sites, they are usually in the form of link/banner exchanges with those other sites. Posting in forums, participating in discussions, sharing favorite pictures, chatting with people, I also do - I -don't- consider it advertising, I don't do it for advertising (it would be a phenomenal waste of work/professional time to spend several hours chatting, typing, and posting photos here, for a couple of hits from the curious).

Fact #3 - my personal financial situation, work, and reliance of income. I am on long term disability, with a sizable pension, if you -must- know. I could survive without working entirely. I'm also married to a man who does website design and teaches martial arts, and brings in suitable income. In terms of making money of my websites(s) If you break down the work I do time wise on the sites, I make about 2$ an hour - Coding pages, creating galleries, updating links, etc, can be labour intensive, as I'm sure the owners/creators of this site can tell you. As a professional Domme, I make 200$ an hour, as a therapist I work on a sliding scale, and make between 35$- 150$ an hour. As an artist, selling prints, I make about 100$ an hour. Because of my disability, I'm limited in the clients I see (both as a Domme, and as a therapist), and the exhibitions I produce, so I do them part time, but still make the majority of my income via these routes. All of these activites, Pro-Domination, Therapy, fetish photography, and web sites, I do simply and purely because I love to. I don't do them for income at all. I'm not a money focused person. I engage in activities out of interests in the activities themselves, if they bring me money, that's an extra bonus, if they don't, I don't sweat it.

Fact #4 - The size and population of these forums, I have no idea, I have no idea of how much traffic comes through here or not. And since I don't have anything invested, materially or otherwise, and no intentions to, in regard to that. I couldn't care less. It's not about quantity, it's about quality. In terms of 'getting traffic' from here, and giving traffic in response. I've already written to Jenny privately - which is how I usually do 'business' and we've arranged a link exchange, and she said she would host a PG rated gallery of mine. I was thrilled. If she hadn't, I would still have added the two links I did to here, both on my two main index pages. Why? Because I think this is a great venue, and I want to support it. Even if Jenny and Firefox, changed their minds, didn't want to add my link, and didn't want to host my gallery, I would probably still keep my prominent links to them up. Why? because I care more about supporting great webspaces than I do about getting a little bit of extra traffic. I love networking.

Fact #5 - YOU have been my biggest advertiser, honestly, if you want to drive people to my site, you're doing a great job of it. If I were a money grubbing manipulative trojan horse like your paranoid brain seems insistent upon. The way for me to build traffic would be to create an alter ego like you to battle against, because you're bringing all kinds of attention to me I never would have drawn to myself.

Fact #6 - Morality. Your personal values obviously are narrow in their dictation of what is appropriate morally in terms of sex, sexuality, and behavior. I have no idea whether you get sexually aroused by heels or not, whether heels turn you on sexually, or not, or whether you have some puritanical spiritual non-sexual admiration of them or not, and I don't care. Personally I don't find people becoming sexually aroused by anything with the exceptions of children or others unable to give consent, immoral. We're all wired differently. There are some people that some how feel if they're fetish is non-genitalia related, they are some how more morally pure. If they masturbate to a shoe instead of breasts or spread legged girls. I don't pass judgement of what people find erotic. I don't think full nudity is immoral or disgusting. I don't think sex is immoral or disgusting. I don't think fetishes or kink or consensual BDSM is immoral or disgusting. That said, I appreciate that some people into heels, find consensual sexual explicit photography 'immoral and disgusting' like you evidently to. I also respect that some people into straight, conventional pornography, think that men who are aroused by shoes, are somehow sick or depraved. I don't agree with either narrow self-centered perspective. I'm fully into supporting diverse healthy sexuality.

As I mentioned in my post, I do respect other peoples limitations and values, and myself mentioned that many of the members here, may very well be uncomfortable if these forums where ever housed in conjunction to an adult venue.

Fact #7 - You're not a moderator here, and you're evidently not entirely an idiot, so why don't you set up your own forums? host them, police them, and moderate them the way you like, and stop trying to dictate the actions of this forum. If anyone is acting more like they are trying to 'take over' this forum, it's not me, it's you. I have not threatened, bullied, or polled people to try and influence the moderators/owners here.

PPS - If I ever did host the forums on the site, I would be hosting in terms of giving cyber space only, I personally -hate- moderating forums. and would want no part of it. Dealing with this kind of thing constantly would drive me bananas!

PPPS - here are some examples of my morally depraved work - rated PG for this forum. - I've exhibited MUCH more explicit examples of my work in art galleries of erotic art exhibitions, with no complaints. Yes, I do much much more explicit work. But I'm proud of it, I'm sex-positive, porn-positive, and in my opinion, creating erotic adult images (porn) and enjoying looking at those images, is not 'indecent' or morally depraved. I have no problems adhering to the posting rules here, when I crossed the boundaries before, it was not intentional.

You aren't the only one thats getting tired of this subject. It was said very early on in these discussions that contributers either subscribe to the established guidelines of the forum or don't post. It's the contributors choice -- and, haveing been subjected to our moderators' editing in the past -- I believe it's the correct way to "run this railroad."

By the way, no one is "picking" at you for the way you chose to live your life or casting aspersions at your profession. That's your business. Like the majority here, I don't care nor do I think any the less of you for it. And I, for one, believe you can contribute a great deal to this activity and would like to hear what you have to say.

I can see the point HF is making, I for one do avoid other HH sites and forums cos of the porn. I don't get big sexual kicks from HH's, just enjoy the feeling of wearing/ seeing them and am trying to persuade my wife of the truth of that. Any porno in these forums detracts from the image I portray male HH wearers to my wife, with the inevitable, told you it was all about sex from her.
On the flipside, I see Katt took away the offensive stuff and apologised, now she needs time to be able to prove she is honestly just indulging in the same hobby as the rest of us, so lets sit back, and give her a chance.
Jumping on every post she makes isn't proving the case either way.

I am not prudish, and there is room for all tastes on the net within the bounds of accepted decency, and my acceptable decency is different from anyone elses as is each of yours. If porn is your thing, as we say in my part of the world, fill your boots, if you don't like it stay away from it, but here I wouldn't like to see it. I like it here it's a home where heels are acceptable for all, and we don't need porn to enjoy it.
