Creating an alter ego would not work as the moderators know your I.P. adress and would recognize it. Read the rules and you will see that, that is strictly forbidden and they could cut you off permanently.

What if Benno, in his 14th persona, calls himself "Luvvly_Lisa" and posts only from his work IP?

I think Lisa is his 14th persona..... maybe 15th. Benno?

why is everybody hell bent at giving us mods and admins more work? (not you stilettoscot)

Yes we will notice IP numbers, but we want to enjoy this site as well and really would rather be reading about things than trying to catch dick heads that have nothing better to do than waste my time.

The rule is here and here it will stay. if this thread carries on for much longer I will just lock it and start banning members for repeatedly posting in the girls section, at the moment the post just gets removed and a PM sent.

If you want to be here, play by the rules of this site.

Please understand, I am getting fed up with this topic.

Hi Nigel,

I'm not trying to create more work. I was just asking a question.

If you log IP addresses then does that mean that if my girlfriend (who shares the 2 Apple macs in our flat and uses a different browser to me) wants to create her own account then she won't be able to?

So it is possible.

Hannah (real girlfriend not alter ego) thinks this place looks interesting and we are both entertaining the idea of attending the next London meet in Feb 2009.
