You make some very excellent points, which I think if we leave here for future reference may serve well to help avoid having to go down this road again in future.

Might save us all some valuable time, and save a ton of explainations?

But the website team really keeps this site very clean and very nice.

Sometimes you clean up before people can see what the offending messages were,
and we wonder what happened. (I still don't know what ended the religious wars and
the bans that followed). But over time it has become very clear that your judgement is
rather good. That is why so many people enjoy this place.

Hey Yozz

Your thanks is greatly appreciated, but certainly not something we look for regularly. Were not really bothered if people are thanking us or not (But always appreciate it if they do) but what we certainly dont expect is lashbacks for our efforts.

All of us on the team have been here long enough to know better, and members should hopefully know us better than to behave like barbaric dictators, or treat people unfairly because we dont.

I guess its that element where people always assume the worst, and pounce on us, then when they have been given all the fact, they retract the accusations without apology.

Like I said, we dont need or seek any sort of gratitude, we do what we do because we like this place and all who frequent our community, but there has to be a certain amount of trust going on too, something we have demonstrated many many times over.

Thanks for the reassurance though, good to see were on the right page.

What you said, ricihe, you said well. However, that doesn't mean that members will differ sharply with your judgement from time to time. And, moderators aren't infalllible and members aren't always wrong.

Exactly, we are after all, only human, and we can only give it our best.
Well said JNR

I think you meant to say '... will not differ sharply ...', JNR, but your sentiment was clear enough and I could scarcely fail to agree - and am glad to see that Richie does too!
