I posted this response to Heelfan on Jennys forum, but felt it was worth repeating here.

Well Heelfan!

You had me totally fooled. I must admit to being disappointed that Lucy is a figment of your imagination, but my congratulations to you on writing it so well. I would have never believed for one minute that a guy could have written this stuff so convincingly. It’s a shame that Lucy doesn’t exist as she was perfect, everything I find sexy about women. In fact too good to be true, but I guess you were playing on that a bit with us heel loving guys.

You have certainly had some great heel experiences, so I would like you to continue with them under your own name, particularly your real life encounters, which in my opinion are so much better than anything made up.

A quick question on the Chinaheel mule roadtest. Is that made up or do you know anybody who bought a pair?

Thanks for coming clean Heelfan.

Cheers, Paul.

These are my comments that I posted in another thread:

This isn't the first time something like this has occurred here. There's been lots of others (I currently have my doubts about at least two others that comment and post pictures, here). However, besides the fact that some of us have been made fools of while coming to the defense of (Lucy) a fraud, which really makes us feel (and look) foolish, no real harm has been done -- other than to our gullibility and pride, and to the credibility of the author.

When on the Internet, I constantly think of what Sasha used to say. That is: "Hey this is the Internet. Anyone can be anything they want to be. Afterall, its just entertainment."

That being said, however, I really enjoy the stories. I do a great deal of reading and recognize a well-written work when I see it. It's the images invoked by the story that really count. And you, Lucy-heelfan, good at. For my part, heelfan, keep it up -- after all, it's not the author that matters.

(P.S. Were jo's comments that the stories were copied from another website, true?)

Heelfan I have already told you, as Lucy, what I think of your stories and your writing ability through my replies to Lucy's stories. They were genuine even though she was is a fictional chararcter.

I guess what upset me more about what you have done is how you let us all know. Why didnt you wait until you had finished them all then tell us that they were in fact written by you, not Lucy.
Why let us know in this fashion, doesnt make sense to me.

I will probably go on reading them even with my pride in tatters because like most I am addicted to them.

Jeff
(Note, no best wishes for you any more, you've used up your share)

Hi Jeff!

Regarding my confession, I didn't decide to do it now of my own volition and let you all down with a bump. I feel VERY grotty about that. No, I was rumbled! I am very scatty (as Firefox will tell you, leaving golf clubs etc. everywhere) and I inadvertantly signed one of my Lucy postings "Heelfan". Well, as you can imagine, once four separate members had immediately noticed that, I had to come clean and tell all! Sorry!

Regarding your other question about Jo, that was completely incorrect. I (Heelfan and Lucy) only discovered and started on the Internet in the late Spring of 2003, and started Lucy's Story from scratch. I've only ever posted it on Jenny's Forum with Spikesfan (and then me) duplicating it across to this Megaforums "Stories" Forum. I got quite frustrated that someone should claim to have read it all before somewhere. It was all 100% fresh and original. That's why I started dropping real-time times and dates into my ongoing chapters to show that they were being written there and then. After that the "old hat" comments abruptly stopped, thank goodness.

Yours frankly and sincerely, and thanks for the compliments on the writing quality!

Cheers, Heelfan

I do hope you continue to do "Lucy's" stories. I always look forward to the next instalment. It is exciting! I always have taken most things I find on the net to be more fiction than fact, so it doesn't bother me in the least to find out that Lucy is a creation, not real. The interesting part is to find out that several of these things did happen, just to different people. You do paint a wonderful picture of what it must have been like to live then, and that is most of the charm for the stories for me anyway. The rest is just bonus!

Hi Jinxie!

We've not spoken directly to each other like this before, but it's great to have this unexpected opportunity, and thank you for such very kind words of encouragement.

However, just to set the record straight, it wasn't just several of those heely events that really occurred, it was ALL of them. Naturally I had to change people's names, adapt some of the conversations etc. to roll it all into Lucy, but ALL of the happenings are based on real live high-heel events that I witnessed and are indelibly etched in my mind. And, I might add, those memories are still being added-to every month!

Lovely to hear from you! You and virtually everyone else is rapidly giving me the reassurance and confidence to carry on the Lucy's Story!

Cheerfully yours, Heelfan

I'm inclined to say you may as well continue writing your stories, they seem quite popular here and I doubt that will change.

I do feel you owe a bit of an apology to those you offered advice to under the guise of being female and to a few posters earlier in this thread that you were rather rude to when you were so ardently defending your alter ego.

To Rand and Jeff:

Hi Rand! Yes, I totally agree with you. As I've already said both here and on Jenny's forum, the really grotty thing for me about being exposed was not the exposure itself, but letting the Lucy "fans" down with a big bump.

So yes, yet another big "Sorry" from me to you Rand and everyone!

Jeff: Oh yes, you have to be totally scatty to play jazz! And I'm scatty with life in general. Whenever I have these Heel-Meets with Firefox and all the rest of the UK heel-gang, they're forever picking up things I've left in golf clubs, restaurants, shoe shops etc. And of course, it was my scattiness that caused me to sign a Lucy posting as "Heelfan"!

I've been a real silly-billy!

Cheerfully yours, Heelfan
