ordered 2 pairs of shoes there, never received a single pair.
Received minimal feedback when we asked for more info, after 2 emails saying the shoes were still under way (over 1 month after ordering) no more feedback.

DON'T SHOP THERE!!!!!

Have you actually tried to telephone them and speak to somebody?

You should never really rely on email because its not a guaranteed delivery medium. Just go to their website, grab the number and telephone them.

Ain't that the truth!

A well known UK seller of HH on eBay has caught criticism for their lack of communication, mostly due to ignored emails. So I rang them, and have rung them a number of times now, always getting a helpful and positive response to my phone calls. One subject discussed early on was the lack of response to emails. "We get 5,000 spam emails a day." Which told me everything....

As per Richie's advise, ring.

It always amaze's me just how much dependance people put on something that is so un-controllable, and requires a certain amount of technical knowledge to be able to use in the first place.

The worst part is, people quickly become impatient and dont have enough brains to actually figure out "Maybe I should call them" and so will proceed to slag off and try to discredit a company just because they didnt get an email reply, when they have no idea whats actually going on at the company because they didnt ask...

I'm not saying there is no merit in your statements, but I really think, from the information you have provided, that you should be decent enough to actually try contacting them using a reliable method before you shout your mouth off about anybody.

If they still dont give you any satisfaction, then by all means, we would really love to hear it

Yes I know which seller you are talking about. I might ring them next time I buy another pair of heels from them.

Well, i called them and the guy who answered the phone said it was a problem at my end and that i had to call my post office about the package. When we replied that our local post office had no clue of any package that arrived for us in the last couple of days. We asked the seller to give us a phone number of the postal services in belgium we should call (since then it was still unclear to us if we were dealing with DHL, Deutsche Post, Belgian post etc,...) he emailed back with a phone number of the belgain postal service which we called immediately. fortunately the tracking number worked in their computer and they found the package. The package was considered undeliverable for some unknown reason and on it's way back to germany. We asked if we could pick it up ourselves and the postal services said that we could go to a warehouse and distribution center near Brussels (a one hour drive) to pick up the package. We jumped in our car and finally got the package and the shoes.
I don't know who messed this shipment up (twice!) the seller, DHL or the belgian post, but since this is the only seller with these kind of problems we won't order with them anymore until we're sure the seller tackled these problems in an adequate way.

Thats a fantastic result, glad to hear you did get your package, and also sorted out the confusion with the delivery.

Also, dont wait for the supplier to "sort their problems out" because they might not be too aware of it, or, you might never know if the problems are sorted out if you never order from them again.

If you place an order, do it over the telephone, and request/demand a tracking number from a reputable delivery company like DHL, that way you can be sure it wont get lost, as DHL will take full responsability for it from door to door.

I've seen some really good UK companies almost go broke due to a terrible delivery company that couldnt deliver anything correctly, or without breaking it all, but once I called them and asked for non-courier delivery by post office insured, and all my stuff turned up just fine and the company were happy to post it by my preferred method.

Bottom line is:
Whatever a company "offers" on their website, doesnt have to be all thats available to you.

So, when do we finally get to see you in your new shoes?
