p.s

I know what you mean abut old people and email. I was trying to teach my mum how to do basic computer stuff. She complained that my mouse was broken. I looked and she was holding my mobile phone like a mouse, moving it about the desk and trying to click. And she had her reading glasses on!!!

Bless.

Thanks guys!

I do feel like an old fosil when it comes to computers at times. Email has become the easiest way for non-businesses to communicate pictorially and the written word in our time. FAXing is almost as good, but the service can be more expensive and both parties need to have the proper equipment functioning.

Thanks also for reminding me about some of the problems some businesses are subject to. I just wish there was a little more attention paid to the proper business etiquette when things don't follow the expected course. As a result of the dead aire, the parties are left in the dark as to what the other is going through, which tends to cause some unnecessary stress and imaginery concerns.

From your posts on this thread concerning my unenlightenment about Cos and Burlesque Blue, some of the stressing thoughts going on in my mind have been satisfied. Hopefully, I will be able to communicate with Cos soon.

As before, if there's something one of us here can do, feel free to send a PM with specific (and discreet) requirements.

Thanks to all of you!
Today, I took a chance and re-issued my email message. It was delivered and Cos has replied. It was a very welcomed relief!

I'm thinking of getting a pair of their shoes as they look great. Can anyone vouch for how solid they are in large sizes i.e. size 12 UK? I have 2 pairs of Leatherworks shoes in size 12 and although they're generally well made, the heel does tend to sag a bit as the sole feels a bit too flexible - unlike my Little Shoe Box shoes that feel like you could stomp around in them if you wanted. Any ideas if Burlesqueblue shoes are more stiff / solid?

Also has anyone been there to try some on - has he got a decent selection in shop, is he welcoming etc? They're not too far from me so might give them a try

Thanks for any advice

Cheers,

Ben
We do since we started Elite Heels. ELite Heels is the only Shop Cos is doing business and even it is hard for him making the shoes completely of his own, he is working hard.
He became not only a business partner, we can call him already friend, he visited us twice in germany, last week he was here the last time and we created And discussed some sexy new stuff.

We think it is worth working with Cos, he knwos what he is doing and since when we started we only took partners who are real craftsmen, even it takes in some cases a bit longer.

Hey! QOH/Gina,

It was good to hear that Cos and Elite Heels is working together. When I saw the Burlesque Blue site on the internet, I was impressed with the heels they used in their advertisement. The shoes were close to the styling I wanted to wear. So I contacted Burlesque Blue concerning a couple of heels I wanted made. Cos emailed me that my requests were possible, so I put an order in. Then the communication seem to cease and I became concerned and wanted to know more about Burlesque Blue.

Hence my first post on this thread. Since then, I have gained quite a bit of respect for the work and reputation of Cos and Burlesque Blue from those who have literally had nothing but praise. Now I am really looking forward to receiving my order. Thanks for your contributions and all the help you have done, especially on my behalf.

I do not exactly understand, but when it takes a bit longer, we know why. He was visting us for a couple of days and the day after he left he broke his leg.

We talked to him 10 minutes ago and he is doing better and he is starting to work the next days.

So, the shoes that Cos makes for Elite Heels, are they made using the same lasts as the shoes he makes under the name of Burlesque Blue?

I'm asking because the shoes I have from Burlesque Blue run small. Size 6UK, wich usually fits, is too small, and 7UK is a bit large unfortunately. And he doesn't do half sizes. If I am to expect the same sizing in shoes from Elite Heels, I'm a bit hesitant of ordering from you.

But you have other people making shoes for you as well?

We have seven different manufacturers, but we can ask Cos. him doing half sizes.
