Yes, I sure hope he meant two pairs of shoes. Reminds me of the time a co-worker arrived at work wearing one brown shoe and one black shoe of the same style. I happened to mention it to him and, after looking down and realizing what he had done while getting dressed in the darkness of his bedroom (not wanting to disturbe his wife's sleeping), responded, "yes and I've another pair just like them at home." :lol:

I once saw a sign in a shoe shop that said buy one get one free. I went to the check out with two pairs and was charged for the two I pointed this out. The clerk told me that it meant buy the right one and get the left one free! it was a good sales ploy as I still ended with both pairs!

I was looking at some boots on the banana shoes site and they appear to be made at leatherworks.

Has anybody here purchased boots from leatherworks? I am interested in the quality and to see if the styles change dramatically at larger sizes.

iv bought from bananashoes....and let me tell you they were the WORST made shoes iv ever had the misfortune of buying....no customer service skills at all...and all in all i wouldnt even recomend them to my enemys...i wouldnt wish that fate on anyone!!

Hi Ben

I am convinced the made to measure styles from Bananashoes are indeed made by Leatherworks. The quality of this line is good, though not superb. I purchased the Bianca style two years ago. They are matt leather with 4" heels. In my size (8.5 UK) the heel is 118 mm at the highest point.

As for Bananashoes: Sharon, the manager's reputation is good on this forum. Before and after the purchase I send her a question by email. Both times she sent me a satisfactory answer the next day.
