They sell shoes, naturally. I was told about the site and checked it out, and I do like a few of the pairs they have.

If I remember correctly, it is not too far into the U.S. from where I am. I could be mistaken. I haven't looked at a map in years that wasn't focused on Canada or Denmark.

If anyone has some experience with this company, let me know. If I find a better bank I may just be able to start ordering, and I am looking for a place that will not kill me in shipping or taxes.

Unless someone knows a store in Calgary I can just visit on the weekend. I can still hope, right?

Laurie,

There were some posts a couple of years back about people ordering, their money being taken, but then nothing.

I think that they had problems making some of the higher heels for small feet, so the job was put on the back burner while they concentrated on the 4" heels which they knew they could knock out at a profit.

I havn't heard anything negative for a while.

Since you are thinking of going there in person, you will be better placed to form your opinion of their ability to deliver.

If you go, maybe you could give us a report on what you find.

I've ordered from them in the past and had no problems. They were prompt with delivery and the shoes were the right size with a good fit.

I would definitely do business with them again.

I had the same problem Xaphod described, a couple of years ago (I think it was '97). Ordered some things, my creditcard was debited and never received the goods. They weren't to responsive on emails either.

I know this is a little late, but I have limited experience with Dugan Brothers from last year and they were fine. It was the ONLY place I could find one of Tony Shoes styles, and they delivered right away.

Has anyone dealt with dugan brothers for shoes? What were your experiences with them? is the service good, the shoe quality good?

I believe Tom (NL) has had experience with Dugan Brothers. Perhaps he might be able to tell you something about dealing with them.
