Default New heels delivered today

I recognize that this probably belongs in the Product Review section, but that section has never worked for me, so I figured to put it here. Received a couple of pairs of shoes from Snaz75 this evening, and wanted to post an early review.

An opening caveat - the only heels I've ever worn are the classic heels (either with or without a platform) and a spike, or at least non-wedge, heel. Also, I've really only recently figured out how to walk in the big heels (my last contribution in this thread was pretty good from a learning standpoint:
New here, a couple of dumb questions

OK, these are the short ones - 4" total heel, about 1/2" difference/platform. I've been wearing 6" heels/2" platform for the last several months. These things seem short, honestly. I feel like if asked, I could probably play a decent basketball game in them. The only drawback is the strap/whatever you call the thing that goes over my toes (still learning the terminology). It is kind of tight. Actually, it is really tight; I'm hoping that it will stretch over time. Fairly comfortable to walk around the house, but for obvious reasons, not something I can wear out into the world, except perhaps during the Gay Pride Parade [not gay,but willing to take advantage of opportunities]. I could walk in these all day long.

Ow. Ow. Ow. I'm being harsh here. There is just no give in these shoes. Not a lot of padding, as opposed to what I'm used to. That said, I've always wanted to see the difference between wedge heels and (for lack of a better word) spike heels. Just a completely different experience. Still getting used to not having to worry about balance, and my stride, at least in these shoes, has become much longer. 6" heel, 2" platform, although compared to the shoes above, way higher "lift". The straps could be longer, and I had to punch my own hole in the strap to fit my feet. That said, the only heel I've found with a wedge and a big rise (4" above the platform)

Now that I've seen a 4" rise, and I've figured out how to walk in them, I'm looking hard for a 5" rise, although this is not as easy to find as you might expect. As I've said before, I just love the feeling of lift.

I've bought a couple of times from snaz75 before.

First of all, I'd like to praise them for their clear, logical layout and search options, plus they seem to carry the entire lines from Demonia and Pleaser, which gives them great selection.

Next, my boots arrived on time and as described.

The only bad part is that they only sell the same cheap crap as all the other stores on the web.

But for what they are, they're decent.

That part is usually called the "vamp".

I should point out, I've always loved Snazz, I've had three or four sucessful orders from them in the past, but they recently disappointed me deeply:

I ordered 5 pairs of shoes from them (three pairs of heels & a pair of flats for myself, one pair of heels for a friend).

I received an email a few days later telling me all five pairs had been shipped, and my credit card was charged.

I received another email telling me my shoes had been delivered, requesting feedback on the service (through bizrate, i filled in a wee popup on the first order.

Two days later, my shoes arrived... box marked "1 of 1", with no inventory/billing sheet/ receipt... and only four pairs of shoes.

I emailed Snazz about it,. who replied with how much they pride themselves on having the widest range of sizes, styles and colours in stock, blah blah BLAH- but didn't actually apologise, or explain why i hadn't been informed of the item being on back order, refunded me (although had they asked, i would have waited for them to get them in) and gave me a 10% discount on my next order. Okay, it was nice of them to give me a discount, but I really feel I should have been told in advance that my full order wasn't available, I mean if I hadn't contacted them, then what? They would have kept my money? Would they have eventually sent me the shoes? Who knows.

Admittedly, I'm most annoyed because the shoes were a surprise for a friend, and that was ruined.

*sorry to drag up an old thread*
