Himark, I'm glad you posted the message above. As a result, I researched the archives here and found this message from you posted on 28 December 2003 in the For The Guys > heels4men.com thread :

All traces of their business have been removed. The place where they had their storefront showroom and manufacturing plant is vacant, and there is a "For Lease" sign in the window.
It could be possible they returned to their old Ajax address if it was still vacant. I will visit that address plus their last known address at #28-110 Ironside CR, Scarborough, Ontario M1X 1X2. They are only about 20 miles (32km) apart.

I might be able to borrow a digital camera and take pictures of their storefronts. I have no interest in this company or their boots. So unless you folks have specific questions I should ask them, I will only verify their location.

Well, the new boots I had ordered from Western Ranch arrived yesterday.
They look great and fit perfectly. It took about a month for delivery as they stated including shipping. Both Peter and Nick whom I dealt with were very helpful and I hope they do well in bringing Western Ranch back to life. Just thought I'd let everyone know....When I get my camera up and running I'll provide some pics..

OK folks, here are the facts as of December 23, 2004.

Although I had confirmed this last March and posted it in another thread, allow me to repeat this update.

Western Ranch is doing business out of a small rental storefront #28 at 110 Ironside Crescent in the eastern section of Toronto. This section of town used to be a separate city known as Scarborough until a few years ago when Toronto absorbed a few nearby communities.

At 110 Ironside Crescent, the street side store directory still lists a Franks Printing company at #28. But when I drove up to #28, although the blinds and the store were closed (it was 7 in the morning), this time there was a hand written poster indicating:

Western Ranch
Handcrafted Western Boots

I personally felt there was nothing significant to photograph.

Also, because of the sign at this address, I felt there was no need to drive out to Ajax to check out that location.

For those who want to read the other thread to see what's been discussed in the past about Western Ranch, click

If you need more information or still want photographs, just post your questions and requests here for me.

I'll have pictures soon, I hope. Getting my new camera running this weekend.

Anyway, The address I sent my payment to was in Ajax, Ontario. This is also where my boots were shipped to me from.
The whole transaction went off without any problems and Nick was very helpfull. He and I talked by E mail and I spoke to Peter by phone.
My experience was just fine.

I'm glad that your experience with Western Ranch came off without a hitch. Maybe these 2 gentleman are truly trying to revive Western Ranch back to what it should have been for some time. Cheers---

Thanks for sharing. They look great.

It seems that I should consider ordering my 4th pair...

How much were they?

That is a very, very nice pair of boots that you have got there. Western Ranch did a beautiful job on them and it sure does look like they ARE back. How is the fit and feel on them?
Cheers---

Dawn HH,

They did a fine job on these boots. The leather is soft and smooth. Smell is wonderfull. I sent detailed measurments as requested on the web site along with e mails to Nick on the size. They fit very well. A little stiff the first day but after that the fit is great.
As I stated before, this so far is the only acceptable type boot to my wife. She wasn't excited that they were a bit pointed but made no metion of the heel which really isn't all that high. We will see what happens tonight when I return home with the other pair of boots I recently purchased and have on today at work.. 1/2" platform, 4" heel .
