Default Replacing Plastic tips with metal

My missus has a pair of 3" ankle boots with plstic heel tips which are wearing out really quickly. I want to replace them with metal tips to last longer but the end is not round but a small d shape. Do they do metal tips this shape and where can i get them from

Yep,

these folk are brilliant to deal with.

Is this the type of heels you were after?

Default Heel tips

If you are european you can find these in Germany at http://www.ersatzstiftflecken.de/.

I ordered both plastic, steel and brass from them and they cost €2/pair. Deliverytime was quick too.
