How do you make your heel tips last? Mine seem to be worn out in no time at all. Is it just the original tips that are so non-durable? I have gotten heel tips from Germany that aren't put on yet, maybe these after market tips will last longer.

I also ordered some steel and brass tips but hesitate a little to use them cuz they will make quite a sound I think.

Of course overall bodyweight will put a bigger tear on the tips but my appr 170 lbs (77 kg) is that much.

Any idea?

My Wife wears heels most of the time and to extend the life of her heels I have made some out of 4mm steel.

It took quite a while to shape, drill and fit, but they do make a great noise.
