Default Shoe Widths

Hi,

Does anyone know the widths (inches / cm) of shoe sizes, especially EU and US? I've found lots on length but nothing on width.

Thanks

Ita varies. Men's styles tend to be wider and Italian shoes tend to be the narrowest.

The good news is is that it is easy to stretch the width. There are several formulae for to find the width if you know the length, some are complicated and some are easy but as a rule of thumb the width at the widest point is a third of the length though some people have long, thin feet and some short, fat feet.
