Default Sole separating

Ok the boots that are in my avatar are fairly new, only a few months old. I have a slight problem, the sole on the left boot is separating from the boot where the leather and sole meet in a couple places. Any one know of some good adhesive i can buy online to remedy this? These are my favorite boots and steve madden only offers them during the winter months.

thanks

Evostick from any DIY outlet... you know the proper contact adhesive.

Spread a thin layer on both surfaces and allow it to thoroughly dry. Then another thin coat and wait for it to go tacky and then press together.

I would think that any good quality contact cement ought to do the trick. Most DuPont products are pretty good.

Evostick is OK provided the sole is rubber, if its plastic(which a lot are!) then Evostick will not last long.
For DIY bonding a no more nails type product is OK.

What ever you do don’t use super glue! as this dries rock hard & isn’t flexible enough for the constant bending of a shoe. It fails very quickly.
But this is another one ( I would say this! ) where a repairers your best option, I use 4 different glues on a daily basis each for different rubber/plastic/PVC types & combinations, this will probably cost you less than a tube of glue & you won’t get your hands messy!
