I'm sitting here at home double checking my bags to make sure I have everything I need.

With the addition of fastfreddy2 to the roster of probable attendees, the list looks like shown below. My guess is that 4-5 from the list will not make it, but possibly 4-5 who are not on the list will attend. Thus, I expect around 40 attendees in total.

It's taken nearly a year of preplanning for this event. I understand that some will want to leave and go shoe shopping, but given the rarity of getting such a large number of us under one roof at one time and the enormous amount of personal energy it has taken the likes of iloveboots and myself to promote this, we ask some of you to please stick around and enjoy the fellowship and company of hhplacer's before you rush off to do your shopping. Well, there a lot of threads for the meet now but I put my question here:

Going from Stansted to London there is a choice between the easyjet bus line which takes about 1:45 each way and cost £14 for a return ticket and to go with stansted express train for £24. The train is also a 1 hour shorter ride.

I think I'll go with the train but do you londoners have any suggestion for me, and all other coming into Stansted?

Get a bus to Bishop's Stortford and then a coach or train from there... Cheaper and probably quicker.
