Firefox is confirmed to attend the World Heel Meet 2006
I just got off the phone with Firefox and it is 95% certain that he will be making the meet! Woohoo! :drinking:

WANTED: your help for attendee from Hamburg, Germany: heeluis
Would any local be so kind as to help escort our friend Heeluis who is flying in all the way from Hamburg, Germany? He said he is not too familiar with London, and I was hoping someone could offer to help him out? Perhaps someone could offer him some tips on how to get from the airport to the Novotel Euston?

Here is his itinerary information.

Arrival time from Hamburg Lübeck 9:40 a.m.

From Stansted to Euston (for Novotel)

EITHER: Bus A6 from Stansted Airport to Golders Green Station. Then Norrthern Line Tube (any southbound train) to Euston.

OR: Bus A6 from Stansted Airport to Baker Street. Then walk about 1.5km directly East along main Marylebone Road/Euston Road road to hotel

OR: (more expensive but possibly quicker) Stansted Express train to Liverpool Street, then Circle Line Tube to Euston Square

Just received word that Si will be joining us. The expected attendees for this meet seem to be approaching my goal of 20 members. This is gonna be fun!

Congratulations kneehighs! Thanks to your untiring efforts, this Heel-Meet really is building up towards a bumper attendance! 14 expected with another 10 possibles (to date) is excellent!

Jo rang me to say that he has now become a "probable" (rather than "possible") attendee, and it looks as though both micha and euchrid will be letting us know very soon whether they can come come. Any similar decisions yet from the rest of you "possibles" out there?

Default A RECORD HEEL-MEET?
It'll be really great to see Si and Robert and so many other old faces again, and to meet some new ones (including Tara!), and the overseas interest is terrific!

If everyone turns up, it will already beat the previous heel-meet record of fifteen established here at our Bristol premises two or three heel-meets ago.
