Hi there, would love to be there too and meet all of you.
I come from Germany though. Can anyone offer a place to stay??
Or does someone knows a good cheap hotel?
England is a little expensive and I´d rather spend my money in some new heels...
If so I would try to get a cheap flight and stay there one night.

I understand your dilemma. The dollar is weak against the pound, so London can get pricey quickly. I'm researching possibilities right now. Perhaps we can book a room with two beds in it and share the cost.

edited: I already booked a room at the Novotel Euston.

I see you live in Hamburg, so getting a cheap flight to one of the airports won't be too hard. Try:

www.opodo.de
www.ryanair.com
www.easyjet.com

for some ideas on what to pay.

when i book london trips i always use www.superbreaks.com to book my hotel. good discounts on good hotels

if you can get in the 4* city inn westminter i reccomend this excellent hotel to anyone everytime!!
around £55 p night i think

Thanks for the help Daz. Actually I just booked a room a the Novotel London Euston at 100-110 Euston. for Sat and Sun nights

I'll check out your suggestion for my Paris hotel, which I haven't reserved yet.

Kneehighs: how long are you in the UK for? There's reference to 'other' dates on this thread in addition to the 13th May, but I don't know what they are. Perhaps there'll be another opportunity to get together.

I'm only going to be in London Sat and Sun nights. Then I go back to Paris, which is what the other dates were for. I deleted those dates so as to dedicate this thread to the London Heel Meet.

If that question was intended for me, it'll be a three day, two night trip. My hotel is on Euston street, which should be within walking distance from Soho.
