Mostly, round toe pumps do just that. Make your feet look small. I have a pair of 4" black round toe pumps, and when I wear them with pants, I don't like the look much, they make my feet look really small. It's kinda out of proportion. My pointy pumps look way way way better with pants.

Yeah I wear anywhere from US 8 to 9 depending on make and model.

I guess it's the way I dress that makes those shoes look weird. I might have to take a pic.

I've had a look on the net and found 2 pairs that fit your criteria of platform and chunky heel but unfortunately not both. The good news is that they are in your size and the retailer is based in Germany which I assume is where you live. They are good quality proper leather shoes - made in Italy - so no Far Eastern rubbish here

These are 95 Euro - I have a pair and are absolutely gorgeous shoes. Upto size EUR45 and 46 run big too!!

Yes, thanks! I got the first pair some years ago already... But, anyway, that's not quite what I wanted to get hold of. The heels have to be a bit more chunky to go for an everyday wear. And I'm somehow fascinated by the shape and the look of the shoe itself that I have shown in my start posting. Don't know why but it is just like that...

I got them from Electric Boutique. In the menu bar move the mouse pointer over 'Shoes', click on 'Pumps' and goto page 5. It's the 'KAY-BLK-PU'-style (in my photo I removed the ankle strap - just like them more this way). They are currently at the bottom of that page (I think this changes when they add or remove items). -- Lucky you if you're not larger than a US women 10...
