5" thong style scandals

I'm having a helluva time finding what I want in thongs. Best I could find was a five inch from an outfit in China, and the shipping and ordering procedure scared me off. That, plus the price, which was about $80 or so. No thanks.

There are pleanty of scources of course for thongs....but all of them feature very low heels, up to about 2 or 3 inch max.

Anyone have a scource? Pics?

Thanx for any help you can offer.

Thongs don't usually come in a very high heel. What with that one piece of material essentially holding your foot on the shoe, it wouldn't be comfortable. Heels tend to drive the foot forward and chafing against the thong could prove to be very painful.

Just a caveat... but if it's what you really want, I wish you well on your search.

You'd be surprised. I have some with 3.5" heels and it isn't a problem at all. Those with even higher heels, don't have a strap like flat zorries. It is more of an ankle strap, which holds the foot from sliding down against the toe strap. See link and scroll down to "Thong 13" and you'll see what I mean.

Just for the record - over here, strappy shoes with thongs that divide the big toe and second toe are known as "toe-post".

ForPlay used to make a 6.5" platform stiletto thong sandal, but it must not have sold well because it didn't last long.

Forgot to ask your size. Those ones are only up to 6 to 8 range.

It wasn't For Play, it was Tony Shoes - I have a pair of 13s.

Try a search on Google for Thong Sandals. You are right - there isn't much out there over 3.5 in., especially if you want a large size.
