6ihf

letīs play a game..(prices are fiction) for better understanding...

i order a pair of leather-shoes at the 6" shop.
the price is 150 dollars, shipping costs are 20 dollars.
the shoes will be made especially for me.
you send the shoes to germany.
the german customs charge 19% (28,50 dollars in euro)
unfortunatelly the shoes donīt fit to my wife.
i send them back to the shop and add 50% (75 dollars) "change-fee".
makes about 25 dollars shipping costs.
you make a new pair and send it again to germany.
german customs charge 14,25 dollars in euro (best case, depends on your invoice - maybe more)...

did i forgot something?

and 8 weeks later i have the final pair of shoes - maybe...

donīt get me wrong, i really like your styles, but facing the costs and the "waiting-period" i wonīt order from your shop...

did you ever thought about an european/german reseller? this might be usefull. and please, donīt work with chinese-sizes on the web-site...

regards

I think that an exchange fee of any more than 10%, or so, is taking the michael.

Each pair of heels is only made when a customer places an order. This is why it takes so long to fill an order. Because each pair of shoes is custom made, the exchange fee is incredibly high. We viewed the replies from this thread and will revise our company policy in the near future.

The European resale option does not work because all American and European resalers require the wholesale price (including shipping) to be 40% of the retail price. It is impossible for us to work with this condition.

With all of the renewed interest in your company, as a result of all of the posts on this forum, I thought you might have improved your business practices and attitude toward customers. I see that you haven't. What amazes me is that you guys are still in business.

The stainless-steel high-heel shoes look both beautiful and sexy.

One can admire them as a work of art, but I wonder how comfortable they would be to walk in. Other steel wearables, such as collars and chastity belts, usually have a soft synthetic material on the inside and rounded edges to avoid cutting into the skin. The arch strap on the shoes seems to have unprotected edges and might well damage the skin.

The shoes are custom made, but this appears only to match the length of the foot. What about the difference between wide and narrow feet? Also the number of adjustment holes on the straps seems excessive. If made for a particular foot and ankle, three closely-spaced holes would seem a more elegant solution.

I agree that some kind of lining on the straps would be nice. The one part of the design that I don't like is the right angled post that goes over the big toe. My preferance would be another strap. The combination stainless steel/leather pump by GML is incredible. That would be on the top of my want list if you ever designed your version of the shoe. The pricing is a little worrisome since fit/feel can't be measured by a ruler. So my initial cost of $350 could rise by the $175 exchange fee plus the shipping back to China. Now its a $550 shoe.

Many thanks to everyone who posted their opinion regarding the Stainless Steel High Heel Sandals. The most attractive idea about our SSHH is that they are 100% stainless steel. Because they are stainless steel, no glue can be used to attach a leather lining.

We have some customers who requested for a rigid toe strap. However, due to previous experiences, we know that rigid toe straps usually do not fit, and will hurt the wearer's feet even more than the L-shaped toe bar. This is because stainless steel has no flexibility.

A wearer can make the SSHH more comfortable by wrapping the L-shaped toe bar in plastic tubing or other types of soft material. The arch and ankle straps can be bent to form around the arch and ankles.

Our SSHH is US$350 because they are 100% handmade. The heels are made by hammering a flat piece of steel into its final form. The soles are made by hand bending the steel plates into the accurate angle. Completing the final product requires several stages of soldering and reconfiguration. Each pair of SSHH requires a highly skilled metal artist 14 days to make.

Here are some pictures of SSHH Style #3 being worn by a man (China Size 44.5):

Hi,

Where are these shoes made, my simple calculations suggest that even at $350 they are cheap if they take 14 days to make, thats $25 a day and about Ģ12.50 a day over here in blighty.

I can now understand why you were suggesting $600 a pair. I think you are going to be in a very limited market though as I cant see as these are a practical business to manufacture.

anyway, they look pretty impressive, but I think I will pass, thanks for your time.

Elegant,
Get to ebay and search for the store name primafila-italia (you can see it embossed in the pictures).
I found lots of pics and dreadful styles there - some of them are in my wish list now.
