Any Fellow Heelers in NW USA? Hi,
I've seen a few people here from the great Northwest, USA.
How about sharing your experiences in wearing or buying shoes or boots here?
I'll go ahead and start off by telling you about my limited experiences.
I live in a small town in SW Washington and have only worn my boots with 2inch block heels with no problems at all. I have also my leather thigh high boots (1 inch heel, that are actually sold as mens boots, but are unisex) under my jeans or leather pants (when riding my motorcycle) without problem.
As you know, the more rural parts of the NW are not the place to be seen wearing super high heels or stilettos! Some of the locals are not known for their acceptance of new ideas.
I have bought from Payless all around the area and have never had a problem at all. In fact the two girls at the counter commented on how much they really liked the color of one pair. I usually like to try them on in the store and until recently have been very shy about it, but am getting bolder because of this forum and my past experiences.
So, anyone living near Portland or the Megaplex of Seattle/Tacoma/Everett have anything they would like to talk about?
Have you found any other stores besides Payless that regularly carry larger womens sizes, like 12-13?
Thank You,
Boot Guy
