Rep Power: 21 | Welcome Sevenup! Welcome Sevenup! Well done for making your first post. One of many, we hope! Once you've made 25, you'll be out of the "Comfy Loafer" and into progressively more exciting shoes!
Can you tell us what you'd like to do, and why you can't do it?
Many newbies have made similar postings, and we're always very sympathetic, many of us having had similar problems ourselves.
Cheefully yours, Heelfan

My Mood: Rep Power: 9 | Hi sevenup, you sound a bit like me i started into heels a bit earlier and i'm only a year behind you.Its a great site and you may need to visit either early am or late pm to check it out,as i do.My family often don't let me get a look in on the computer! I'm hopefully going to try and attend the next London meet whenever its arranged,am a bit nervous but the rest of the guys here seem to have a good time! And as you only live once i think its time to express myself a bit more just by putting a bit of time aside for myself in order to meet some like minded people. But obviously family comes first !!!

Rep Power: 15 | Welcome, both.
When we have the London meets, I suppose the major problem for someone new is meeting us lot for the first time.
It's easy enough to be a little cautious .... just hang around near our meeting point and scope us out for a while. OK, we might be dressed a bit weird, for example be wearing heels, but I hope we don't look like a coven of axe-murderers !

Rep Power: 0 | Guys - it will reassure you if you read the posting and reports of previous Heel-Meets over the last year or two - see under "Real Life Meetings".
Several newbies like Daz were posting as real shyguys, very apprehensive about the first meet. BUT, the moment they met up with us, they were immediately astonished and relieved at how we can just sally forth down places like Oxford Street with a variety of 4" and 5" heels on full view and nobody turns a hair. It's SO EASY. Daz gained immediate encouragement and confidence and was soon streetheeling away with the rest of us, and in the short space of two Heel-Meets he shot from being a shy-guy with his block heels totally hidden by his jeans, to boldly turning up at the second Meet in boots with high stiletto heels.
All it needs is that first encouragement from the group, and you'll be amazed at how great and liberating it becomes! Of course, heels are not compulsory if you just want to come along to the first one or two as an "innocent spectator"!
Keep your eyes peeled on "Real Life Meetings" for plans for further Heel-Meets from the New Year onwards.
Cheerfully yours, Heelfan |
