Default My Favorite Shoes

I thought I'd share some pictures of my favorite shoes.

This is a pair of boots by Ellie, style 557-Dolly with 5.5 inch heels.
It took a lot of practice to learn to walk in them.
I wore them into a Burger King and, while I was waiting for my
order, I noticed some guy at the end of the counter gawking at
me as if I had 2 heads or something. I found it to be very annoying.
That was the only bad experience I had with them.

This is a pair of 4 inch oxfords I bought on sale at Payless for $6.
These shoes are very comfortable and I don't even notice the high
heel when walking. I've noticed a few people looking at them while
mall shopping but no bad reactions.

This is a pair of LEI work boots found on sale at Famous Footwear for
$20. They are a great pair of boots for the price. They are very
comfortable and walking in them feels great. They came in handy
during a recent snowstorm. I've never noticed anyone noticing them.

The first are my favs - I'm biased because I wear the same boot! I found it to be very easy walker though.

I had to practice wearing them at home for several weeks before
going out. The 4 inch heels weren't a problem but, the 5.5 inch
heels took a lot of getting used to.

How long did it take you to learn to walk in heels that high?

it shoudn't take that long to learn how to walk in those 5.5" heels I have a pair of 6" "stripper" plats (see my avatar pic) and it took me 4 hours, yep 4 hours to get used to them! mine are a bit too much for street use though! even under a longer than usual jeans/pants they'd stilll be visable, and they are VERY loud! but then agaain I don't go out in them yet! maybe soon, (if I can gain a tonne of 100 proof Courage!)

later,
