Mr. X

This is a follow up to <A HREF="http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/guys/11876-super_awesome_day_one_more_our_side_kind_long_read.html"target="_blank">super awesome day</A> I had the day off today so I decided to run all my errands. I wanted to wear my heels again but didn't want to go the day in pumps so I choose my black boots instead. I can now wear my boots all day without even thinking about it, which is what I did today.

Well as you know from my last thread it's been about 1 week since I got my ears pierced again. Things are going well on that front and they are healing just fine.

I started my day early again around 9 o'clock. I had decided that I had to go back to Claires and test the waters based on my experience from a week ago. I figured again near opening that it would be less busy. I was hoping that the manager would be there again this time and I was in luck because she was. The only problem was was that she was not alone. There was another middle aged women there as well. She had a laptop and they were talking. I figured it had to be her manager or the district manager or something like that.

I didn't have my big earrings on at this point but I had them with me. I was hanging around outside the store for a few minutes deciding if I should go in or not. I finally decided that I should so I had to change. I went to the nearby bathroom to change. Off went the small hoops and on went the larger hoops(pics at the end). The hoops themselves were a little bit thicker and measured 1.75 inches in diameter. Wearing high heels is one thing and at least you can cover the heels somewhat with your pants. But with large earrings unless you have really long hair the earrings are going to be totally visible and on display for all to see.

I finally entered the store and the 2 ladies were discussing business. They did not notice my presence right away but said hello not long after. I looked around for maybe 2 or 3 minutes before the new lady walked up to me and asked if I needed a hand. I thought this could be "it" but it wasn't. I said I was fine for now and she just began telling me about all the earring specials in the store. For the whole minute or so that we talked she treated me just like any other customer without even batting an eye.

Then after about 5 minutes or so I decided to make a purchase. I took my earrings to the counter and the manager finally spoke with me while ringing up my purchase. She asked me how my ears were doing and I said fine. Again not even batting an eye. I told here that the store had changed a bit from a week ago and I got confused when i walked in. Her and the other lady started to make jokes about that with me saying that they do it to keep customers on their toes. We all talked for about 2 minutes without problems before I finally thanked them both and left.

I then went to the washroom to change back to the smaller hoops but kept my heels on to finish the rest of my errands.

Anyhow, here is a pictures of the earrings I wore. The earrings are basically the exact size in real life as in the picture.
