Question Stuck In High Heels and sport

Hai everyone,
I am new here. Learnt that there others that stuck in heels. I am never really bare or flat footed but I must sport. Some sports are impossible with mine hh lifestyle. But others I can do. I am in biking (with heels), rowing (with heels), scuba diving (without heels) swimming (depends on my mood) and wall climbing (without heels). There is no really conflict with my shortened tendons and perm hh feet’s. Sometime hiking with my wedges.
Are the more sport fanatics that are stuck in heels?
Esther

I never met a sport fanatic who was stuck in heels before.
I like to swim, it tones my muscles.

I am the same as my heel is about 1.5 to 2" off the ground. I have finally found some Nike runners with this airlift heel that I can wear with a little heel insert (Dr Scholls). Since starting my heels days I have gone to the gym in barefeet but they do not allow this and saying I forgot my runners only can be ok a couple times before the only excercise I was getting was swimming. I am hoping to get ski boots made which will allow for my feet to go in as I need more excercise as I turn 30. Shery in Vancouver

Hey Dancer Girl,

I had the same. With aerobic there is a real problem, I can't wear the right shoes for aerobic and barefoot is not really allowed. So now I wear socks or my wedge (2 teacher do allowed) but most not. So I give up aerobics for my life style and do swim, bilking and climb now. Where you find that Nike? and will it work with 3" you think?

Love Esther

I am truly stuck in this. I used to dance, ski, golf and skate. Now that my tendons are truly not able to have me flat footed so I have finally found some Nike runners not sold in North America with enough iof a heel lift that I can wear them. I would like to get ski boots made one day but that is way too expensive now. Sheryl

I love heels but like to think I know when to wear them and when not to.

I do a lot of dance and trampolining and wear trainers for dance and am barefoot or wear sports bandages for trampolining.

Ski is not my thing but biking, hiking, swimming and climbing I do. I have tried ski boots once in a store that was impossible. They "forced" my feet’s and tow in "natural position" and that hurts terribly and i couldn’t walk 2 single step.
Could you give my the type of that Nike runners and where you bought theme? I had size European 37/38 How do you manage skate? Are there skate with enough heel lift?
